（CNN）　13日にイタリアの沖合で発生した豪華客船「コスタ・コンコルディア」の座礁事故で、同船船長が事故発生直後に自分と連れの女性の2人分の夕食を注文していたことが、同船の料理人の証言で明らかになった。

コスタ・コンコルディアで料理人を務めるロゲリオ・バリスタさんによると、フランチェスコ・スケッティーノ船長は事故発生から約1時間後の午後10時半に夕食を注文した。当局の発表では、船が座礁した時刻は午後9時41分だ。

バリスタさんによると、船長はテーブルについてデザートまで待っていたという。「船長はいったい何をやっているのだろうかと思った」とバリスタさんは述べた。
